Thank you for visiting my page. I hope you can help support this amazing foundation that has given me and many other lung cancer patients so much HOPE!
I think most of you know my story:
I was diagnosed in November of 2010 after I noticed a small lump in my neck. I had no other symptoms. It was Non-Small Cell Adenocarcinoma lung cancer, stage 3b. My world went upside down. I did what the doctors recommended - chemo and radiation. I continue to take a daily pill that is a "targetted therapy". AND . . . here I am, almost 8 years later! They call me an Outlier - one who has beaten the odds, thus far. I realize how fortunate I am, and I am grateful for every day. I am so happy to be able to help support this foundation in memory of friends that I have lost to this disease; and to help with future research that is so critical for making lung cancer a chronically managed disease. And of course, we are all hopeful for a CURE, someday....
With loving gratitude,
